The College at Brockport Athletics Department has released the 2019-2020 schedule for all three seasons (fall, winter and spring).
The fall season gets the ball rolling on Friday, August 30 when men and women’s cross-country travel to St. John Fisher College for their first meet of the season. Women’s and men’s soccer are on the road as well; the women headed to Clarkson for tournament play and the men’s team at Rochester Institute of Technology. Also in action that Friday is Women’s Volleyball, set to travel to Alliance, Ohio for the Mount Union Tournament.
Field hockey and women’s tennis will both compete at home that day, with tennis hosting Nazareth College and field hockey opening their year against Wells College. A week later, the football team start their season with a road battle against Hobart College.
Swimming and diving start off the winter season, with the Ithaca College Quad Meet on October 19. A couple of weeks later, on Friday, November 1, Ice Hockey travels to Plattsburgh State, while Wrestling stay at home to face-off against Penn State – Behrend. Both men and women’s basketball kick of the year with road games on Tuesday, November 12, with the men heading to Morrisville College and the women playing at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Indoor Track and Field host the annual Brockport Open on Saturday, December 7 to open up their campaign. The Gymnastics team will begin their title defense on Tuesday, January 7 as they host SUNY Cortland for the first meet of the season.
Spring Sports begin on the weekend of Friday, February 21 with Baseball heading to Virginia to battle Ferrum College. Women’s lacrosse starts up a couple of days later when they host Denison College. The men’s lacrosse team kick off their season at home as well on Wednesday, February 26 when they take on Alfred. The softball team will hit the road on March 25 when they open up the year with a double-header against Nazareth College. The outdoor track and field team is the last to start their campaign, with their first meet coming on Saturday, March 28 at SUNY Geneseo.
