Brockport Symphony Orchestra presents virtual “Autumn Colors” concert

The Brockport Symphony Orchestra will present a virtual “Autumn Colors” concert on Sunday, November 29, at 7 p.m. The link to view the concert will be posted on the orchestra’s website
(www.brockportsymphony.org) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BrockportSymphony) one hour prior to the time of the concert. The virtual concert is free, and donations for the Brockport Food Shelf and the orchestra will be gratefully accepted online. Directed by Jonathan Allentoff, this concert will feature all new recordings of fall 2020 performances with soloists Emmanuel Sikora and Larry Fagen. 

Sikora, an internationally-acclaimed composer with recent performances by the Lviv Philharmonic and the Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra, will appear as piano soloist in the premiere of his new work, “Choral Concerto Medley.” Larry Fagen, the orchestra’s principal cellist, will perform his arrangement of “Dawn” from Rossini’s “William Tell Overture.” The program also includes Baroque dances and British folk music.
