Summer Sunset Series returns to GCV&M
Genesee Country Village & Museum’s Summer Sunset Series is back again this season with a full lineup of musical performances on the Great Meadow select Fridays through July and August.
The Summer Sunset Series presents a rare opportunity to enjoy the museum grounds after-hours and watch as the sun sets over Flint Hill. The Freight House Pub and deck will be open for drinks and the Depot Restaurant will be open for dinner, snacks, and ice cream. Outdoor and deck seating will be available, or bring a chair or blanket and relax on the Great Meadow. Picnicking is welcome, but bringing alcohol from outside of the premise is not permitted. Families are welcome to come enjoy the grounds, have dinner or drinks, and spend an evening surrounded by the sounds of summer. The Roc City Empanadas food truck will also be on the grounds on Friday, July 23, and Friday, September 3. Live music can be enjoyed from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and food and drink will be served until 8 p.m. The museum closes at 9 p.m. during the Summer Sunset Series, and the Historic Village will be closed to visitors during these events.
