BUM Players present A Murder Mystery within a Murder Mystery

The BUM Players of Brockport will present their annual murder-mystery audience-participatory, “whodunit” in conjunction with the Brockport Kiwanis. This event serves as a benefit for Kiwanis, with the proceeds put toward various children’s programs. As always, this is an original script written by director, actor and BUM Player founder, Gary “Turk” Thomas.

Cast members include: David Hansen, Paul Kimball, Marcy Miceli, Charles Edwards, Kim Corcoran, Dave Odrzywolski, Steve Richardson and Carol Peterson. John “Mack” McCarthy will serve as Assistant Director.

Entitled, “Lights! Action! Murder!,” the premise of this play revolves around the BUM Players themselves, although their character “names have been changed to protect the innocent.” As the group prepares to present its annual murder mystery, its leading lady is found murdered in a rather out-of-the-way location; in the bell tower of the Brockport United Methodist Church.

The performance will take place on November 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sweden Senior Center, 133 State Street, Brockport. Tickets cost $10 or two for $19 and many be obtained by calling Wanda Miner at 637-5656 or at the State Farm Office of Kelly Lewis at 59 Main Street, Brockport.
