Tops Markets launches Children’s Miracle Network Campaign

Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, is pleased to begin its annual campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH).  The campaign is now officially underway at all participating Tops Friendly Market locations and will run through July 8.

Customers can support the CMNH campaign by purchasing a $1 Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Balloon or round up their change at any participating Tops, where 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated back to the local hospitals in its communities. Additional store events include basket raffles, auctions and other special events to help support the campaign.

Last year alone Tops raised over $270,000 during the Miracle Balloon event thanks to the generous support of its shoppers, and over the ten years Tops has been involved in supporting the campaign, successfully raised over 1.2 million dollars.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 171 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada.  Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care.  Since 1983, CMNH has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icon.  To learn more about CMNH,  visit www.cmnhospitals.org.
