SNAP Musical Theatre summer experience

SNAP Musical Theatre, for the sixth year, is bringing an exciting summer theatre experience to western Monroe County. With cast members from several different school districts including Greece, Hilton, Brockport, West Irondequoit, Spencerport and Churchville-Chili, they are producing three performances of Disney’s “Frozen Jr.” at the Spencerport Performing Arts Center.

Disney’s “Frozen Jr.” is the stage adaptation of the Disney mega-hit animated film. The score boasts all of the unforgettable songs from the film such as “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” “Love is an Open Door,” “In Summer,” and the modern classic, “Let it Go.”

Registration for students entering sixth through tenth grades is available at snaptheatre.org. The program runs from July 8 through August 3. Rehearsals will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Derech HaTorah School, 71 Maiden Lane, Greece.

Performance dates are August 2 and 3 at 7 p.m., with an additional Saturday ASL interpreted matinee beginning at 2 p.m.
