Spencerport fourth-grade teacher Kristen Pettis (center) was recently presented with the School-Based Elementary Teacher Educator Award by SUNY Brockport. The honor recognizes outstanding educators who welcome student-teachers into their classrooms and offer invaluable mentorship and hands-on experience to prepare these candidates for success. Mrs. Pettis is not only an exceptional educator but also a well-respected leader at Spencerport and Taylor Elementary.
