Hilton Village Board Makes History
Andrew Fowler was sworn in as Hilton Mayor during a special meeting on April 1. County Executive Adam Bello administered the oath of office. With the election results officially certified, Jamie Attoma and Christine Brower were sworn in as trustees, joining incumbents Sherry Farrell and Shannon Zabelny. For the first time in village history, there are four women serving simultaneously on the Village Board.
At the meeting, the Board voted to move its meetings to 6:30 p.m. to make them more accessible to community members. Going forward, the Hilton Board of Trustees will meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Community Center. Meetings are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
