The Community & Senior Center

Recently many improvements and additions have been made to the grounds of the Town Hall Campus.

Outdoor Wellness Equipment

Located on the “Wellness Way” path the outdoor fitness equipment stations include an Ab Toner, Lateral Pull Down, Chest Press, Double Leg Press and Rower. The equipment is designed for all fitness levels and is located along the “Wellness Way” path that extends for .5 mile in a loop around the Campus. It includes views of the splash park, pickle ball courts and more.

Permanently Paved Walking Trail

The new paved path travels around the campus and retention pond. It is marked in 1/8 mile increments and is 1/2 mile long. To help with navigation around the Town Hall Campus new directional signs have been installed throughout the Campus.

Story Walk Area

In August 2018 a ceremony was held unveiling the StoryWalk installation. The StoryWalk resulted from a collaboration between the Greece Public Library and the Town of Greece Parks and Recreation Department. It is an enhancement to the new paved walking trail. There are 18 reading stations spaced along a 1/4 mile trail. The weather resistant frames contain pages from children’s books. It provides both exercise and educational opportunities for all members of the community. The Friends of the Greece Public Library provided funding for the frames. The StoryWalk concept is the creation of Anne Ferguson and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont.
