Clarkson will decide November 26 on Brockport Ambulance

The Clarkson Town Board met in executive session for about 40 minutes with officials from the Brockport Volunteer Ambulance Corps (BVAC) during their regular meeting November 12. Brockport Ambulance President David Rice told the Suburban News following the session that board members will decide later this month whether or not to return to the BVAC as primary responder for the town.

The BVAC and the Clarkson Town Board have been in contract negotiations since last summer, when board members voted to terminate their contract with Monroe Ambulance. The town had originally imposed a November 15 deadline to come to an agreement with Brockport Ambulance.

The town board will make their decision at their next regular meeting, November 26, Supervisor Paul Kimball said.
