Residents encouraged to sign up for Hyper-Reach

The Brockport Police recently had an incident occur where officers attempted to notify residents in a certain area to shelter in their homes due to a dangerous situation. It had come to our attention that not every resident is registered with the Hyper-Reach program that sends out the notification. It is a simple process that only takes a few moments. Hyper-Reach is a useful tool for law enforcement to immediately notify community members of a situation and how to keep yourself safe during said situations. The program will call your phone, landline or cell phone, and will give you instructions. You may also opt to register an email so you are always in the know. Please remember to register all cell phones/landlines/emails in your home to ensure you never miss an alert. Failure to register may result in you entering a possible violent situation. To register please visit https://signup.hyper-reach.com/hyper_reach/sign_up_page_2/?id=7241&fbclid=IwAR2fYfV-biQU3Xtnr3hgrzMJPoiCvkBwYgih6IEGYagu6oQhki5pPNa3SSk or go to the Brockport Police Facebook page and find the link in a post from December 14, 2018. For any questions or need assistance in registering, call the Brockport Police Department, or call 9-1-1 and ask to speak to an on duty Brockport Police Officer.
