Brockport Rotary holding Play for Peanuts event

The Brockport Rotary Club invites the community to “Play for Peanuts” on October 14 at Bill Gray’s Taproom in Brockport from 6:15 p.m. until the games are done. Learn more about what the Brockport and Spencerport Rotary clubs have planned for the year and be prepared to play board games such as Clue, Yahtzee, Boggle, Pictionary, Chutes and Ladders, Scrabble, Euchre, or bring your own game.

This is planned to be a fun activity that “will build Good Will and Better Friendships.” It is one part of the Rotary Four Way Test, which says: “Is it the Truth? Is it Fair to all? Will it build Good Will and Better Friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all?” For the sake of good will and being beneficial to all, participants are asked to wear a mask if not vaccinated

As for playing for peanuts, participants will not win any peanuts, but instead help local food shelves. Bring a jar of commercially prepared peanut butter, jam, or other non-perishable item to donate to our food insecure neighbors. Cash donations also accepted.
