Golf tournament proceeds benefit Gates and Chili libraries

The Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce held its annual Golf Tournament on July 26 at the Brook-Lea Country Club and over 130 golfers played the links.

For the eighth year, the proceeds from the annual Golf Tournament went to the Friends of the Gates Public Library and the Friends of the Chili Public Library. Over $6,000 was donated to each library this year at a check presentation ceremony held at the Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting on November 16.

The Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce is already planning next year’s Golf Tournament for Monday, July 25, 2022, at Brook-Lea Country Club, with proceeds again benefitting the Friends of the Gates Public Library and the Friends of the Chili Public Library.

Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven organization that provides networking support and education to its members. It is dedicated to fostering collaboration and promoting economic vitality to the Gates and Chili communities.
