The Hilton-Parma Senior Center has its monthly evening meals and entertainment back up and running. The dinners, catered by Foster’s Restaurant, will take place at the Hilton Community Center, 59 Henry Street, Hilton. The cost is $10 per dinner.
For December, there will be a Christmas evening meal on Wednesday, December 15. The dinner will feature ham with pineapple, twice baked potatoes, green beans almondine, and pie for dessert. Entertainment will be Christmas music provided by Johnny Bauer and attendees are encouraged to sing along.
For January, there will be a country jamboree night on Wednesday, January 26. The dinner will be a barbecue meal consisting of pulled pork, mashed potatoes, baked beans, and corn bread. Worthy Duncan will play a mix of country music tunes and a limited number of country hats will be handed out to attendees.
One does not need to be a member of the Senior Center to attend; these dinners are open to anyone. A reservation is necessary by 9 a.m. on the Monday prior to each event date. To register or for information, contact the Hilton-Parma Senior Center at 392-9030.
