The Village of Brockport is now taking applications for those interested in volunteering on a new committee, the Law Enforcement-Community Partnership. This committee’s main purpose is to create an additional channel of communication between members of the greater Brockport community and the Brockport Police Department, increasing transparency and providing mutual information, education, and perspectives. This committee will be comprised of no more than 12 individuals and will meet quarterly; meeting details will be established after hearing from interested community members. Volunteer membership is open to village residents as well as those living in the towns of Sweden or Clarkson. Submit a position interest form at brockportny.org to be considered for appointment.
