Knights of Columbus golf tournament benefits Veterans Outreach Center

The St. Joseph Assembly (Spencerport) of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus in conjunction with the Assemblies of St. John Fisher (Pittsford), Bishop James E. Kearney (Rochester), and Rev. Paul J. Cuddy (Webster) held a golf tournament to raise support for the Veterans Outreach Center. The tournament was held on Sunday August 6, at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Brockport. Lee Arbegast of St. Joseph Assembly and Dan Dwyer or the St. John Fisher Assembly chaired the tournament. Through the efforts of the four Assemblies, they were able to raise $6,500 to donate to the VOC.

The Veterans Outreach Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized services to the men and women who served our country. Founded locally in 1973 by returning Vietnam Veterans, today’s Veterans Outreach Center remains anchored in our community and offers a comprehensive portfolio of supportive services designed to meet the needs of veterans and their families. Through the generosity of the local community, all of these programs and services are provided free of charge.
