“Sparkle and Joy!” offers holiday cheer at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church presents “Sparkle and Joy!” – a harmonious celebration including three English handbell teams with singers and instrumentalists in concert on Saturday, December 16, at 4 p.m. The event will take place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 14 State Street, Brockport. It promises to enchant the audience with its festive spirit, uniting the community in the joys of the holiday season with a diverse array of sacred and secular holiday pieces from many traditions, including Christmas and Hannukah.

The concert features an impressive lineup of bell ensembles, including both divisions of The Erie Canal Ringers – The Great Bells of Fire and The Heavy Metal Ringers. These groups will be joined by the St. Luke’s Bell Choir as well as soprano Lynda Krens, tenor Ben Monacelli, baritone Emory Morris and Brockport High School flutist Julia Hunsinger.

Admission is free, with donations graciously accepted to support the St. Luke’s Music Fund.
“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for ‘Sparkle and Joy!’” said St. Luke’s Music Director Brenda Tremblay. “This kid-friendly concert is a testament to the power of music in bringing people together and celebrating the spirit of the season.”
