What’s there to do in Hilton after the total solar eclipse wows us? Have a blast at the Hilton Alumni Association’s 2024 Casino Night! The fun will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 13. One does not have to be a Hilton graduate to attend – all are welcome.
Dance to the music of The Grove Street Band. Sample a variety of hors d’oeuvres and desserts donated by local restaurants and bakeries. A cash bar will be tended by local celebrities. Visit with old and new friends. Enjoy an evening of casino games without the risk of losing, since no money changes hands. Instead, players are rewarded with Mystery Raffle tickets, and there will be a lot of winners.
The Casino Night ticket price includes admission to this fun-filled event, 500 chips to use at game tables, 25 tickets for an early-evening Cadets Raffle, and a donation to HAA’s Grants and Scholarships Fund. Every attendee becomes a generous donor to the fund, which helped the HAA donate more than $10,000 last year in support of students at Hilton’s schools.
Don’t know how to play casino games? Join the fun and learn. Dealers will teach and entertain while ensuring that players win tickets to use for a Mystery Raffle at the end of the festivities.
In addition, some fantastic prizes are lined up for an optional all-evening Cash Raffle – a 55” flat screen TV, a foursome round of golf at Deerfield, and a locally hand-made quilt are just a few.
Advance sale tickets ($40 per person) may be purchased at Z’s Automotive, 13 Main Street, Hilton; and Foster’s Restaurant, 50 Canning Street, Hilton. Same-day tickets ($50 per person) may be purchased at the door.
