CHILI

•Allen, Russell F., September 28, 2013 at age 93. Predeceased by his parents, Freddie and Eva Allen; son-in-law, Stephen Cooke and grandson, James Cooke. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Ruth; children, Nancy Cooke, Freddie (Sharlene), Robert, Wendy Allen; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many cousins and friends. Russell was a member of the Odd Fellows for 64 years where he was a past Grand Marshall, president and treasurer of the John C. Sable Heart Fund, and worked 35 years at Maurer Co.

•Oehlbeck, Olive K. (Kingsley), September 29, 2013 at age 92. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman Oehlbeck; sisters, Florence, Ruth, Grace, and Marion; brothers, Ray, Walter and David, and brother-in-law, Raynauld. Survived by her loving children, Roger, Gary (Carl), Shirley VanDerMallie, and Doug (Marianne); grandchildren: Julianne, Jennifer, Viktor, Eric, Heather, Jason, Tracy, Amie, and Karlee; great-grandchildren: Gaje, Chase, Benjamin and Eliana; brother, Ralph (Aline) Kingsley; sister-in-law, Ernestine Oehlbeck, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Service was held October 4 at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 2415 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624 in her memory.

•Vinciquerra, Frances E., September 27, 2013. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Vincent; sister, Bertha Hays; brother-in-law, Sam (Erma) Vinciquerra; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Robert) Hudson of Maryland, Sharon (Mark) Sexton of Maryland, Linda Fama, John (Cindy) Vincequerra, and Kevin (Joann) Vincequerra.
Her Funeral Service was held October 1 at Trinty Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Rochester. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Church (Trinity Emmanuel Memorial Fund), 761 Elmgrove Road, Rochester 14624 in her memory.

CHURCHVILLE

•Vink, John C. “Squeek”, on September 30, 2013 at age 80. He is survived by his wife, Patricia W.; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Fred Albrecht, M.D.; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kathy Vink; grandchildren, Amanda, Karl and Eric Albrecht, Madison, Hadley and Rylee Vink; sisters-in-law, Patricia P. Vink, Mary Vink; brother-in-law, Steven Pikuet; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, LaVerne and Gordon Vink and sister-in-law, Gail Pikuet.
His Funeral Service was held October 5 at the First Presbyterian Church, Caledonia. Interment, Mumford Rural Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.

HAMLIN

•Waye, Gary C., of Deland, Florida formerly of Hamlin, died September 13, 2013, age 70. Predeceased by parents, Milton and Arlene Waye; sister, Shirley Jurs; wife, Susie Waye. Survived by children, Gary (Kim) Waye, David (Susan) Waye; grandchildren, Zoe and Isabella, Ashley, Christopher and Elizabeth; brothers, Richard (Nancy) Waye, Donald Waye, Milton (Debra) Waye; sisters, Janet (Dennis) Hamlin, Karen (Norm) St. John, Linda (Gary) Kludt, Betty Waye; brother-in-law, Don Jurs; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Hamlin VFW Post or Hamlin Fire Department in his memory.

•Watkins, Marie K., September 25, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband, James, 2002. Survived by her children, Kathy (Steve) Muller, James (Joyce), Jerold and John Watkins; grandchildren, Janel (Jeremy) Keating, David (Kaitlyn), Brett and Dillon Watkins, Dawn (John) Starwald, Aimee (Mike) Murphy, Christopher Brown, Cheri (Bryan) Gropp; eight great grandchildren, Chelsea, Alexandra, Lia, Logan, Cole, Morgan, Jordan and Jimmy; her brother; John (Mary Ann) Didas; her sister, Alice Skillman; several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass was said September 28 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to her Church (SEAS) or Cancer Wellness Connections of Greater Rochester in her memory.

HOLLEY

•Bubb, Catherine H., age 87, died September 28, 2013 at the Palliative Care Center at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband LaVerne “Dixie” in 1983. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Engert of Holley, Eileen (Tim) Maier of Holley, Lisa Forbes of Baltimore, Maryland; eight grandchildren, Chad (Kim) Engert, Christian (Michelle) Engert, Melissa Bishop, Michelle Bill) Silpoch, Jeffrey Maier, Jason, Jonathan, and Jenifer Forbes; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lois Petote of Elba, Delores (Ray) Coates of Churchville, Mariann Bubb of Holley; brothers-in-law, Carl (Marie) Bubb of Elmira, Roy Bubb of Holley, Clayton Bubb of Webster; close family friends John “Bob” Nipher and Donald Bausch; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her cat Hobo. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, S.L.I.M. and a life member of Holley VFW Post #202 Ladies Auxiliary. Catherine owned and operated K’s Beauty Kit in Holley for many years.
Her Mass of Christian Burial was held October 2 at St. Mary’s Church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. •Cady, Theresa F., age 87, died September 27, 2013 in Unity Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Cady was predeceased by her husband Everett and grandson Wayde, Jr., sister, Nina Hastings. Survived by her children: Darryl (Barbara), Evan (Margaret), Janice (Lewis Jr.) Passarell, Pamela (Scott) Hamel, Lynette Cady, Lisa (Wayde) Seiler, Dean Cady; sister, Joyce Smith; sister-in-law, Marcia Hobbs of Gasport; seven grandchildren, Jason, Marcy, Carl, Amy, Shawn, Jeffrey, Lindsey; 12 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Diane (George) Patterson. She was a member of the Holley First Presbyterian Church, Holley Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the Holley Garden Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her Funeral Service was held October 3 at the Holley First Presbyterian Church. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery.

NORTH CHILI

•Peterson, Virginia, on September 26, 2013 at age 82. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Ralph V. Peterson; children, Robert (Kathy) Peterson, Randall (Judy) Peterson, Lynnette Hugh; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Warner Johnson; sister, Lorraine Swan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ginny was especially known as “The Avon Lady” for being the top seller of Avon products for 30 years.

•Reed, Ethelyn B. “Dee”, September 30, 2013 at age 91. Dee is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George Reed; daughter, Margaret Merkley; siblings, Vernon Blowers, Eldon Blowers, Lester Blowers, and Lynette Riggs. She is survived by her son, Glen (Kathleen) Reed; daughter, Janet Reed; son-in-law, Robert Merkley; grandchildren, Charles (Michelle) Merkley, Lauren (Ben) Powell, Kimberly (Todd) Billcliff and Stacy (Dan) Yates; one great-grandson; siblings, Genevieve Graham, Lawrence (Leva) Blowers, Louise (Everett) Campbell; many loving nieces and nephews. She taught first grade for 17 years at Fairbanks Road School in Churchville.
Her Memorial Service was held October 3 at Pearce Memorial Free Methodist Church. Private interment in North Chili Rural Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Pearce Memorial Free Methodist Church For Missions, 4322 Buffalo Road, North Chili, NY 14514 in her memory.

RIGA

•Austin, William G., September 26, 2013. Bill was predeceased by his parents, grandparents and five grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Jeanne; six children; 14 grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; four brothers; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
All services were held privately.

SPENCERPORT

•Fraina, Donald M., September 30, 2013 at age 78. Predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Josephine Fraina. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Janet (Knopp) Fraina; children, Deborah (Deb Smith) Fraina Benedetto, Christine (Erik) Upeslacis, Susan (Brian) Morgan; grandchildren, Alex and Julia Upeslacis, Lydia and Blake Morgan; cousins and many dear friends. Don was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and a 34 year employee of Kodak. A cheerful volunteer, he gave his time to the Ogden Presbyterian Church, Special Olympics, School of the Holy Childhood and most recently, Unity at Parkridge. Don officiated softball and volleyball for various leagues throughout Monroe County.
Don’s Celebration of Life was held October 3 at the Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Interment private. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 or American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057 in his memory.

•Wayda, Marilyn H., On September 29, 2013. Predeceased by her husband James E. Wayda; grandson Paul James Wayda; companion Sam Ennocenti. Survived by her children Francis “Jack” (Cathleen), Kevin (Leslie) Wayda, Connie (Patrick) Doherty, Carol (Randy) Brown, Jay (Renee), Paul (Cyndi) Wayda; grandchildren Brittany Doherty, Lisa Wayda, RJ Freeman, Nicholas D’Angelo, Joshua Wayda.
Her Funeral Mass was said October 5 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Gates. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital in her memory.
