Gary C. Thompson

•Thompson, Gary C., on March 16, 2014, at age 69. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Gibbs) and children, Wendy L. (Steven) Bonter, Sarah R. (Kevin) Magri, Carrie L. (Andrew) Paddyfoote, Aaron C. (Winnie) Thompson and Nathan W. Thompson; grandchildren, Brandon, Heather and Kayla Bonter, Bryant and Mya Mahon, Liam and Luke Magri, Kristen, Angelica, Alexxis, Anna and Douglas Paddyfoote, Tristan, Naia, Mason Thompson; sisters, twin-Gail Johnson and Ruth (John) Mathes; brother, Ross (Christine) Thompson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Hannah (Harding) Thompson and also his son-in-law, Derek A. Mahon.

Gary was an Air Force Veteran, retiree of Wegmans and a member of Teamsters Local Union #118, a 45 year member of Renovation Lodge #97 F.&A.M., Albion. Past Master of Clio Lodge #779 F.&A.M., he was also a member of Hiram Chapter #62, RAM, Cyrene-Monroe Commandery #12 Knights Templar, Genesee York Rite College #25, Damascus Shrine Masons Damascus Temple #2, Valley of Rochester AASR, Lalla Rookh Grotto M.O.V.P.E.R., Rochester Forest #133, Etoleah Chapter #183 O.E.S., and received the Knights York Cross of Honor. Also a life member of Ferris-Goodridge American Legion Post #330.

His Funeral Service was held March 20 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery with Military Honors. Donations can be made to Cardiac Research Institute, Grand Chapter O.E.S./M.M.R.L., 2105 Bleeker Street, Utica, NY 13501 in his memory.
