CLARKSON: Green, Derry, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the age of 83. Derry was born in North Stoke, United Kingdom, on November 20, 1942. He was the owner of Sparx Welding until his retirement.  He was a welder/fabricator and a true craftsman. 

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Green; children, Simon Green and Claire Sortino; grandchildren, Katie (Jake) Wackowski, Stephanie (Rob) Zielinski, Mackenzie, Kylie, Jordan, and Ryan Green; great-grandchildren, Allison Zielinski and Colby Wackowski; and many extended family members and dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

HAINES CITY, FL: Infantino, Suzanne E. (Carlin), 81, of Haines City, FL, passed away January 25, 2026, at Lakeland Hospital Hospice. Born in Rochester, NY, on March 16, 1944, she was predeceased by her daughter, Angela Marie; parents, James and Elizabeth Carlin; siblings, Bruce and Patricia Moffett; daughter-in-law, Cheri; and recently deceased brother, Roger Carlin. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jerome (Jerry); four sons, Jerome Jr., Michael, Paul, and John (Rebecca); two embraced daughters, Linda Coleman and Michelle (Scott) Kremer; two siblings, Jacquelin DeLaus and Eileen (Ruben) Goldberg; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held June 3, 2026, at 10 AM, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow after mass.

HILTON: Sage, Shirley A., age 91, died May 17, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Clara Hess, and her husband, John “Jack” Sage, in 2003. Shirley is survived by her children, John Sage and Lynn (Henry) Hess; grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa) Sage, Melissa (Jason) Heinrich, Carrie (Erik) Goergen, Michelle (Mark) Collichio, and Jay (Stasha Laquitara) Gallagher; and nine great-grandchildren. Shirley devoted her life to caring for her family and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse and found joy in her faith, hospitality, and the simple pleasures of gathering loved ones together.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on May 22 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Churchville. Contributions in Shirley’s memory can be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Road, Rochester, NY 14618. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.

HILTON: Scroger, Lois Klafehn, died May 12, 2026, at age 87. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Scroger; parents, Alfred and Ella Klafehn; brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Klafehn, Robert (Linda) Klafehn; and sister, Helen (Donald) Rhodes. She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Gerald; children, Kathy (Neal) Elli, Paul Scroger, and Dale (Mary) Scroger; grandchildren, Kristen (Ryan) Lipscomb, Kyle (Jami) Elli, Melissa (Erich) Ely, Andy (Bekki) Scroger, Becky Scroger, and Dan Scroger; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Lois dedicated many years as a secretary for the Churchville-Chili High School. A devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, her faith was an important part of her life and guided her compassionate spirit. She possessed a remarkable artistic talent and found great joy in painting, especially creating beautiful works of art on saw blades and other unique items.

Her Memorial Service was held on May 18 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hilton. Interment at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue, Hilton, NY 14468. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.

HILTON: Warmbrodt, Sarah E., died May 2, 2026, at age 65. She was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Paul and Lois Grant. She is survived by her children, Eric (Tiffany) Warmbrodt, Christine Warmbrodt, and Evan (Danielle) Warmbrodt; granddaughter, Hannah Warmbrodt; the father of her children, Douglas Warmbrodt; and two siblings, Nicholas and Gabrielle. Sarah was born in Erlangen, Germany, and was adopted by Paul and Lois Grant. She grew up in the U.S. with two siblings from her adopted family. She was employed by Maven Technologies in Rochester, where she served as the Business Manager. In her leisure, she enjoyed tending to her plants and gardens. 

Services will be held privately at the family’s convenience. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.

HOLLEY: Roe, David J., age 24, died May 16, 2026, following a very short illness. David was born in Brockport on April 23, 2002. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Virginia Roe, and uncle, Adam Roe. David is survived by his parents, Daniel (Mia) Roe and Brandylynn Lutz; brothers, Daniel Jr. and Cayden Lutz; grandparents, Robin Vieira, Scott (Ann) Vieira, David Roe, James (Kelly) Lutz; aunt, Amy (Ron) Brigham; uncle, Jacob Lutz; several cousins; and numerous friends. David was a 2020 graduate of Holley High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and South Korea. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, David was continuing his education to become a Park Ranger. David had a great love for being outside and enjoyed fishing or working on his Chevy pickup truck. His greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

HOLLEY: Wheeler, Norman Guy, age 95, died May 14, 2026. He was born on October 28, 1930, in Warsaw, NY, to the late Ruth Ellen (Neeley) Wheeler and Riley Guy Wheeler. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Virginia (2010). He is survived by four daughters and “daughter number 5,” Cousin Rose (David) Naramore, Deborah (Erwin) Dominguez, Elizabeth (Neil) Hovekamp, Mary (Anthony) Knoedl, and Rebekah (Steven) Smith; eight grandchildren, Emily (Jason) Ingram, Ryan (Erin) Hills, Jennifer (Thomas) Donley, Priscilla (Matthew) Hierlwimmer, Emily Wheeler-Smith, Guy (Janelle) Hills, Elizabeth Wheeler-Smith, and Madelyn Hovekamp; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Norman dedicated his professional life to education. He taught high school science in Indiana and Illinois for two years before settling in Holley. Then he spent 28 years teaching and inspiring students until his retirement in 1988. Throughout his career, he was recognized for his excellence in education, receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Rochester and twice being voted Teacher of the Year. From a young age, his faith shaped the course of his life. In Holley, he faithfully taught Sunday school classes for both teens and adults for many years, and he and Virginia devoted themselves to sponsoring youth groups.

His Funeral Service was held on May 19 at Grace Baptist Church, Brockport. Burial will be private at the family’s convenience. NORTH CHILI: Lewis, Cathryn Ann, died May 16, 2026, at age 87. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, and son, Robert. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Brenda), Brian (Jamie Ellison), Susan (Jody) Patchen, and Kimberly (Larry) Weingartner; 13 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was born June 1, 1938, in Buffalo, to Cazamer and Ethelyn (Banks) Crouch. She attended college at Roberts Wesleyan to pursue a career in nursing. She met the love of her life, Harry Lewis, during her first year, and they were married on December 14, 1957. She became a stay-at-home mom. She loved being a mother. Cathy had an intense love for Hallmark and was their biggest customer. She grew up in church and learned the love of God, which only progressed with age. She wanted nothing more than for her loved ones to spend eternity with her in Heaven.
