AREA: Bush, Bonnie Lu, age 78, died June 13, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1947, in Batavia. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence S. and Laura E. (Ford) Bush, Sr.; and siblings, Jean A. (Charles) Taylor and Lawrence S. (Jo Ann) Bush, Jr. She is survived by her nephews, David Taylor of Batavia, Jack (Donna) Taylor of LeRoy, and Jim (Tracey) Taylor of Pittsford; great-niece, Stephanie (Michael) Taylor; great-nephews, Nate and Sean Taylor; a great-great-nephew and great-great-niece; and numerous cousins. She graduated from The Genesee Hospital School of Nursing in 1969 and began her career as a Registered Nurse. In 1982, Bonnie followed her passion for education and the natural world by earning her Teacher Certificate and later a Master’s degree from SUNY Brockport, to become a middle school science teacher in the Rochester City School District. She retired from teaching in 2010. Bonnie was a woman of deep faith and community, and a devoted member of Ogden Presbyterian Church for more than 40 years. For 30 years, Bonnie directed the choir and then the bell choir. She also cherished the enduring friendships she formed through Girl Scouts, sharing many adventures and camp counseling at Chalk Hill, WI.

A Memorial Service was held on June 19 at Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Brothers Funeral Home, Spencerport.

CHURCHVILLE: Lancaster, Stewart J., age 65, died June 3, 2026. Stewart was predeceased by his parents, Nancy Lancaster and John Lancaster. He is survived by his children, Matthew (Samantha) and Brian (Amanda); grandchildren, Romeo, Troy, Zoey, and Axel; siblings, Stacey, Scott, and Steven; and sisters-in-law, Nataliya Myahkota and Laura Lancaster.

CHURCHVILLE: Olsovsky, Joseph C., age 82, died June 10, 2026. Joseph was born in Binghamton on May 3, 1944. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilhelmina (Wilma, Val) and Joseph, and his good friend and brother, Anthony Olsovsky. He is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Sandy; sons, Jesse (Shanna) Olsovsky and Jeremy Olsovsky; granddaughter, Ashley Bee Olsovsky; grandson, Riley Olsovsky; brother-in-law, Norman Weber; sister-in-law, Yvonne Weber; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a 42-year lifetime member of the Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post 954 in Churchville, where he was a past commander. Joe was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. In 1997, he received his first patent for a thermal printer and later became “Mr. Rubber” for his work and workshops on rubber rollers for printers. Joe also served his family and community as a Cub Scout leader, baseball coach, bowling coach, and golf coach for the First Tee Golf program in Naples, FL, for many years. Joe played softball on a Kodak league, bowled on many teams (throwing two 300 games), and played tennis. His happiest time, though, was on the golf course.

Calling hours will be held at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, on June 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Funeral Service to follow. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Creekside Cemetery, 40 North Main Street, Churchville. HILTON: Cleveland, Dennis “Denny,” died June 13, 2026, at age 82. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Elwood Cleveland. He is survived by two daughters, Marcy (Ron) Kates and Michelle Skalko; four grandchildren; brother, David (Terri) Cleveland; four sisters, Janis Strickland, Loretta (Stuart) Hansel, Gloria Neumann, and Donna (Donn) Carlton; and several nieces and nephews. Denny was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Following his military service, he worked as a truck driver for more than 35 years, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic, dedication, and independent spirit. Music was one of Denny’s greatest joys, and he rarely passed up an opportunity to sing karaoke and entertain family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, Denny enjoyed fishing, appreciating the peace and beauty found on the water.

His Memorial Service was held on June 18 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Donations in his memory can be made to Hamlin VFW, 1739 Lake Road, Hamlin, NY 14464.

HOLLEY: Engemann, Kenneth (Ken) J., age 60, died June 7, 2026. He was predeceased by his father, Donald E. Engemann; brother, Gregory A. Engemann; paternal grandparents, Irving and Muriel Engemann; and maternal grandparents, Arthur and Gladys Hovey. Kenneth is survived by his mother, M. Gail Engemann; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and great friends; and his longtime companion, Tammi Bale.

A Graveside Service was held on June 15 at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush Scottsville Road, Rush. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Brothers Funeral Home, Spencerport. 

KENT: Conrad, Frank L., age 69, died June 12, 2026. He was born April 8, 1957, in Albion, a son of the late Harold and Virginia (Waugh) Conrad. In addition to parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jill Stinson. He is survived by his brothers, Don Conrad and Dean Conrad; nephews, Jake and Joe Stinson, and D.J. Conrad; nieces, Candi Conrad and Stephanie Conrad; and brother-in-law, Robin Stinson. Frank served in the U.S. Army and then worked at Delphi in Rochester, retiring after many years. He enjoyed animals and riding his motorcycle.

SPENCERPORT: McArthur, Gail I., died June 10, 2026, at age 85. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert. She is survived by her children, Debra Vogler, Brian (Sherry), Scott (Susan), and Cheryl (Mark); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. She had a passion for children and, for many years, worked with preschoolers, enjoying her time there. She appreciated their energy, and this work brought her immense joy and a strong sense of purpose. She thrived on helping others and feeling she had a valuable role to play. Entertaining friends or family was when she was happiest. She always wanted to be outside tending to her gardens while her beloved dog and cherished companion, Charlie, was next to her.

Her Funeral Service was held on June 18 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home in Chili. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
