For the first time since 1978, Hilton will host a Marching Band Field Competition on Sunday, September 20.
The Hilton community has always loved its music. Three years ago, the HCSD recognized this and brought on board Matt Northausen as the newest director for its marching band. Since then, the marching band has competed in the fall competition seasons, taking an overall sixth place out of fourteen in its division over the last two years. The last time Hilton competed in field competition prior to Matt’s direction was 1992.
Gates open at 1 p.m.; the competition will begin at 2 p.m. at Hilton High School.
