Holley eighth-grader Prestyn McMillion (left) was recently presented with a “Soaring to New Heights” award by Holley Middle School/High School Principal Sue Cory. This award is given monthly to deserving students and adults who go above and beyond expectations, and lend their skills and abilities to help others. Prestyn was nominated by Middle School staff and recognized by the Board of Education for “his compassion and fast action” in assisting a neighbor who was experiencing a medical emergency.
