This year, the Hilton Apple Fest Pie Baking Contest will be held on Saturday, October 1. Judges and volunteers are lined up and ready to accept entered pies. The application is available online at www.hiltonapplefest.org. An application can also be picked up at any of the following locations: Parma Town Hall, Shear Emotion, Tops Markets in Hilton, Hilton Family Restaurant, M&T Bank, Summit Bank, Mainly Books on Main Street, Parma Public Library, and Village Community Center.
All pies need to be delivered to the Ingham Room in the Community Center by 9:15 a.m. on October 1 as judging begins at 9:30 a.m. Pies are judged on appearance, taste, and texture. There is a Youth Division (up to and including 16 years old) and an Adult Division.
