Harvey C. Noone Legion Auxiliary holds successful Holiday Craft Fair

On October 30, the Harvey C. Noone American Legion Auxliary Post 954 in Churchville held a  successful Holiday Craft Fair. Seventeen vendors were on hand, offering an array of items for shoppers to choose from. There was a strong turnout from members of the community. 

At the event, 26 wreaths were sponsored for “Wreaths Across America.” On December 18, wreaths will be placed on veterans’ graves at both Creekside/St. Vincent’s and Riga cemeteries. The Legion Family will receive an additional 13 wreaths as part of a buy two, get one free promotion for a total of 39 wreaths for veterans. 

Community members also had the opportunity to learn more about the Legion Family at the event. Some signed up or expressed interest in joining the Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion. To learn how to join the Legion Family, call the Legion at 585-293-1364 and leave a message.

The Legion is hosting a Euchre event on Friday, November 19. They are held the first and third Friday of every month. Be there by 6:30 p.m. to get a spot.
