On June 28, Hilton's Mayor Larry Gursslin announced that St. Paul's Lutheran Church Pastor Albert Zoller, was selected as the 18th recipient of the Citizen of the Year award. Earlier this year, Zoller announced his retirement plans and a potluck supper was held. more

Monroe County crime lab receives funding
Monroe County's Regional Crime Laboratory which services all criminal justice agencies (federal, state and local) agencies throughout Monroe and eight surrounding counties of Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, Yates and Orleans, received senate funding, according to Senator Hillary Clinton's office. more

Spencerport names new coaches
Spencerport Central Schools announced that Patricia Grosodonia has been named as the Rangers new Varsity Fall and Winter Cheerleading Coach. She replaces Amy Conley, who resigned after the conclusion of the season to move out of state. more

Spencerport Central Schools' Athletic Director John Pelin is a member of a new committee formed to ensure that public high schools in New York state provide the best opportunities for student athletes. more
