The congregation of Brockport United Methodist Church has a new spiritual leader. The Reverend Karen Snyder was appointed pastor by Bishop Violet Fisher, bishop of Rochester. Snyder began her assignment on Sunday, July 1. She succeeds The Reverend Sinnathamby Thevanesan. more

Outdoor recreation and tourism in Orleans County get boost
The Assembly Republican Agriculture, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Task Force heard from business owners and recreational organizations during a forum in Waterport aimed at protecting and promoting the outdoor sporting industry in Orleans County and around the state. "Scissors" take the win in Summer Celebration event
Food, fun, and fireworks were a few of the highlights from the Town of Parma's Summer Celebration held on August 3 and 4.
