On December 4, the Village of Brockport Code Enforcement Officer Scott Zarnstorff assisted the Brockport Police Department in their investigation of a person assaulted and robbed outside of 56 King Street due to the conditions of the residence. more

Community service recognized
At a recent holiday gathering the Holley and Albion Rotary Clubs awarded two Paul Harris Fellows. This award, the highest in Rotary, recognizes community and club members for outstanding service. For each award, $1,000 is donated to the Rotary International Foundation. more

Making the season bright
The Holley Teachers' Association donated gifts to the Orleans Community Center to brighten the holidays for those less fortunate. For the fourth year, "Giving Trees" were set up at both schools displaying cards with wishes and needs for 60 local individuals. more

Mask making techniques
Holley fifth grader Sonia Mendoza prints a Paris craft mask of her own face in art class. To create the masks, the students lay on a tabletop for about 15 minutes, face covered in plastic wrap, with only their mouth uncovered. more

PIG students donate to hurricane victims
Seniors in Kelly Daly's seventh period Participation in Government (PIG) class in Spencerport spent two weeks collecting supplies to help the preschool children at an elementary school in Louisiana that was looted following Hurricane Katrina. more

Students Against Drunk Driving (S.A.D.D.) is a Spencerport High School club which promotes a positive, constructive drug-free environment throughout the school and in the community. more

Brockport Central School District's Athletic Wall of Honor Induction Ceremony will be Wednesday, December 28 at 7:30 p.m. prior to the Boys' Varsity Basketball game in the lower gym at the A.D. Oliver Middle School. more

Hilton team wins tournament
The Hilton Select Basketball 5/6 grade team won the EIAA Holiday Tournament at Eastridge High School the weekend of December 17. They went 4-0 in their bracket. more

Coaches, athletes, classmates, parents and friends are invited to the unveiling of the Hilton Girls Cross Country Nike Team Nationals Trophy Wednesday, December 28, at 7 p.m. in the Hilton High School Auditorium, 400 East Avenue, Hilton.
