Golisano gives Roberts Wesleyan $5 M for new library
Roberts Wesleyan College has received a $5 million personal gift - the largest in the college's 135-year history - from Rochester businessman B. Thomas Golisano. The college will use the funds to construct the B. Thomas Golisano Library and Information Resource Center, a 50,000 square foot facility "combining the warmth of a traditional library with state-of-the-art technological access," said Roberts Wesleyan President William C. Oxford demolition pushed to October 29
The demolition of five houses on Oxford Street in the Village of Brockport has been delayed until October 29. Contractors have needed more time than originally projected to remove asbestos before demolition, according to village environmental consultant Ken Pike. more
