Bats and birds move into new homes in Parma
Throughout the years, the Parma Town Park on Route 259 has benefited from Scout service projects, and thanks to Richie and Ted Alexander's Eagle projects completed this summer, bats and birds will be enjoying new homes. Under the direction of Parma Supervisor Rick Lemcke, the Alexander brothers took on ambitious projects which would assist the park's natural habitat and make the park more comfortable for park patrons. more

The Spencerport Fire District, in conjunction with the Spencerport Volunteer Firemen's Association, will be providing a new service to the community starting in November. Each year, Harvey C. Noone Post 954 decorates the graves of deceased veterans on Memorial Day with an American Flag and a geranium to honor their service to our nation. This year, 387 graves were decorated. These flags fly until fall when they are removed by Post members. more
