More than $100,000 will be given to local projects across New York state to improve habitat for fish and wildlife, as well as increase public access for outdoor recreation. Funding for the grants will be generated from the sale of DEC's Habitat Access Stamps. more
Firefighters receive animal rescue equipment
Brockport's Fire Chief Timothy Rombaut accepted a new set of oxygen masks that are very different from the one his people are used to. These have been specially designed for animals and were donated by the customers at Country Pet Grooming Salon in Clarkson. more

Tina Zebulske is one of about ten volunteers in the Hilton-Parma area who work at the Hilton Parma Community Council of Churches Food Shelf operating out of Abiding Love Free Methodist Church at the corner of Burritt Road and Route 259. She joined the effort a little over two years ago when the Food Shelf was moved there. more
