Over the weekend, buses were used to transport mourners to the services and hundreds of firemen lined the street to give Specialist (he was promoted posthumously) Jason Hasenauer a fitting burial. more

Spencerport High School senior Nikki Bujak visited London, England where she cheered in the London New Year's Day Parade. more

Golden Eagles win third
BJ Quinto scored two goals and Derek Spence made 45 saves in net as Brockport defeated Lebanon Valley 3-0 in the first college hockey game of the New Year for both teams. more

Hilton grapplers romp Suhr, Sauberan elected to hall
Nate Smith and Jake Zoghlin won their matches and the Cadets took seven matches by forfeit in a 52-15 wrestling win over Webster-Schroeder. more

Local gymnasts compete
The Bright Raven Gymnastics girls Level 5 team finished in first place at the Graffiti Invitational held in Niagara Falls January 8 with several gymnasts earning top individual honors. more

SEAS swimmers strike gold at Silvers
Twenty-four swimmers represented the SEAS swim team of Brockport at the recent Niagara District's Silver Junior Olympics held December 2-4 at Erie Community College's Burt Flickinger Athletic Center in Buffalo. more

Ziobrowski leads Rangers swimmers
Adam Ziobrowski finished first in two individual events and was part of two winning relay teams to lead Spencerport to a 105-75 victory over Churchville-Chili in boy's swimming. more
